Are the outside edges supposed to be brown? I had to cut the outside edges off. And the center wasn't set when I took it out of the oven, so I refrigerated before frosting. End result was great though.

The edges should be golden but not brown. The center will be soft. It is much the texture of Ooey Gooey Butter Cake if you have made or eaten that particular bar/cake.
